Privacy & Data Handling
Ryndix is a product and service brand operated by Ylemos Inc. (a Wyoming corporation), which is the legal entity responsible for the data described below. Contact service@ylemos-inc.com for any privacy question, including a registered mailing address on request.
What we collect
- Contact and company details needed to fulfill a work order (name, work email, company, WeChat if provided)
- Service-specific product, budget, compliance, and supplier inputs entered in the intake form
- Files the customer chooses to upload for the purchased scope
- Payment metadata (service, amount, currency, order reference) processed by PayPal — Ylemos Inc. never receives or stores full card numbers
- Email and ticket records created to communicate about and deliver the work order
- Live chat: if you open the chat widget, tawk.to sets cookies and records your IP address, browser, pages viewed and the conversation itself
Ryndix Scan iOS app
When you use Ryndix Scan, a photo you capture or select is uploaded to run the requested product analysis. Ryndix does not retain the image file after that request completes. The service keeps the resulting decision card and scan history so you can review prior results.
- Ryndix Scan requires Sign in with Apple so purchased credits, transactions, and scan history can remain attached to the same Ryndix account across supported Apple devices. We verify Apple's identity token and store the stable account identifier, the email address Apple verifies (which may be a private relay address), and the name Apple shares on first authorization.
- Product access and purchases do not depend on marketing permission. The separate email-updates switch is off by default. If you turn it on, we store the choice, consent-policy version, and time of the change; you can turn it off at any time in Account. We do not add users who leave it off to a marketing list.
- Apple transaction identifiers, product identifiers, credit balances, purchases, refunds, and revocations are retained to deliver consumable credits, prevent duplicate redemption, and reconcile refunds. Apple processes the payment; Ryndix does not receive full payment-card details.
- Operational telemetry may include model token counts, marketplace-data calls, request timing, and estimated processing cost. It is used to keep the service reliable and price it sustainably, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How it's used
Data is used to authenticate your account, preserve credits and history, run the requested analysis, process payment, produce purchased deliverables, secure the service, and communicate about service operations. If and only if you opt in to email updates, your verified email address may also be used for Ryndix product-research tips, product news, and offers. It is not sold or used for cross-app tracking, and submitted content is not used to train third-party advertising or AI models.
Your access, correction, and deletion rights
A customer may request a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of their data by emailing service@ylemos-inc.com with the ticket number (or draft reference) in the subject line. Ylemos Inc. will respond within 30 days. Deletion of data still needed for an open work order, or for financial recordkeeping, will be completed once that need ends (see retention periods in the Data Handling Policy).
Where data is processed
Ylemos Inc. uses PayPal (payment processing), Cloudflare (hosting, edge functions, and work-order storage), Resend (transactional email) and tawk.to (live chat) to operate the website. Ryndix Scan also uses Apple (StoreKit and Sign in with Apple), Railway (API hosting), OpenAI (image analysis), DeepSeek (text analysis), and Sorftime (marketplace data). These providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate infrastructure. Ryndix does not sell app data, use it for third-party advertising, or use submitted photos to train advertising or AI models. See the Data Handling Policy for additional retention information.
App deletion and retention
You can permanently delete a Ryndix Scan account from Account → Delete Account in the app. This removes the profile, marketing preference, active sessions, scan history, and unused credits. Purchase records needed for duplicate-redemption prevention, transaction reconciliation, accounting, tax, or legal compliance may be retained only in de-identified form for the applicable period. You can also disconnect Ryndix from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app alone does not delete server records or restore consumed credits. For access or correction requests, email service@ylemos-inc.com; never email an Apple identity token. A one-way trial-eligibility marker is retained to prevent repeated introductory credits; it does not contain your name or email and is not used for marketing. Account deletion also revokes our Sign in with Apple credential. If Apple cannot be reached, the app reports that deletion has not completed and you can retry; it does not silently report success.
